 My Story

Stephany's journey begins on the enchanting island of Puerto Rico, where her spiritual awakening was kindled by the wisdom of her grandmother. From a young age, she was entranced by the world of dance and theater, leading her to pursue her passion at the Jose Julian Acosta y Calbo School of Theater in Puerto Rico. It was on the stage where she discovered moments of profound presence and vitality.

At the age of 14, Stephany returned to her yoga practice as a refuge to navigate stress and depression. Yoga became her sanctuary, grounding her and nurturing hope. By the time she turned 17, she stumbled upon Kundalini Yoga and immediately fell in love with its daily practice, known as kriya. The profound impact of this practice inspired her to consider becoming certified. However, while still in high school, her parents encouraged her to explore other academic pursuits.

Upon graduating from high school, Stephany relocated to Utuado and enrolled in college. There, she felt a deep calling toward agriculture and made the life-changing decision to change her major. This new path led her to discover the wonders of plant medicine, sustainable living, and a profound desire to reconnect with her ancestral roots and the healing power of cacao. In this sacred land, she found a community of like-minded women drawn to ancient wisdom. Here, she immersed herself in women's circles, womb education, plant medicine, and the principles of tantra and tantric dance. This exploration deepened her connection with feminine energy and the divine.

When Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, it served as a catalyst for Stephany to leave college and embark on a transformative life journey.

Stephany's dedication to yoga and healing practices continued to flourish. She completed her initial yoga training with Melba Rasa Yoga and Lidith Ramos, specializing in Vinyasa Yoga. This training provided her with opportunities to share yoga in gyms, studios, and through private classes. Furthermore, she expanded her expertise by completing an 85-hour prenatal training with Lucia Seglie and continued her education in post-natal yoga and baby & mom yoga. She pursued self-education and taught others about tantra and tantric dance, opening new pathways for inner artistic expression.

Later, Stephany relocated to the captivating island of Culebra, where she was blessed with one-on-one guidance from Kundalini Yoga teacher Sat Guru Kaur (Laura). This intimate experience deepened her understanding of this ancient practice, and she had the privilege of sharing this wisdom with her teacher and the community in Culebra. Additionally, she crossed paths with the wonderful Mary Wiedner, a friend and mentor, who imparted level 1 and level 2 Reiki knowledge and Stephany accompanied Mary to her energy work retreats.

Throughout her journey, Stephany's fascination with plant medicine remained unwavering, compelling her to share the transformative power of Cacao Ceremonies. She furthered her expertise by completing cacao ceremony training, enriching her knowledge through Hearthblood Cacao and other esteemed teachers.

In 2022-2023, Stephany expanded her knowledge by graduating from the Shakti Medicine and Women’s Circle Facilitator program, guided by Christine Gutierrez and Beatriz Bonnin. She also explored Rites of Passages under the mentorship of Christine Gutierrez and delved into Sensual Somatic with Desi Monique.

Stephany continues to grow within her community. She is now in the process of creating her new online shop, "Goddess Groove," a holistic haven dedicated to feminine health, self-expression, and empowerment. It offers a carefully curated selection of products that embrace the divine feminine and promote holistic well-being.

These experiences have added new dimensions to her journey of healing and self-discovery. In her personal life, Stephany now resides on the captivating island of Culebra with her fiancé, Christian.

Divine sensuality is the sacred dance of self-love, where every step is a note in the symphony of our unique expression.
